With expansion of our Research capabilities in the US, an opportunity now exists for a Research Associate to join our research team in New York
Macquarie Securities Group (MSG) encompasses Macquarie's institutional stockbroking, equity derivatives and equity finance activities. MSG utilizes its skills in research and risk management to develop equity-based financial solutions and services for clients globally.
Providing analysis and market intelligence across key industry sectors, Macquarie Research has one of the largest research teams in the Asia Pacific region and has a significant presence in North America, the UK and South Africa. With expansion of our Research capabilities in the US, an opportunity now exists for a Research Associate to join our research team in New York.
In this role, you will be involved in generating reports that assist in our institutional clients' investment decisions. You will provide industry and company analysis, financial modeling and database support to the Senior Analyst. You will also have the opportunity to assist with client requests, be involved in broader industry and corporate events and liaise with research and sales teams globally.
To be successful, you will have:
experience as an Equity Research Associate, covering semiconductors and/or semiconductor industry experience in a financial, technical or business development role
a bachelor's degree (minimum) in a finance, engineering, IT, quantitative or other relevant discipline; an MBA would be highly regarded
exceptional financial analysis and modeling skills; a strong understanding of valuation techniques is required
excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas succinctly
initiative to help build a quality product and be willing to work the hours to achieve your goals
NASD Series 7, 63 and 86/87 qualifications (or be willing to obtain these)
