Macquarie Securities Group encompasses Macquarie's Institutional and corporate stockbroking, equity derivatives and equity finance capabilities. It utilises its skills in research and risk management to originate equity-based financial solutions and products and services for clients, globally.

Due to growth, we are looking for a Business Data Analyst based in New York to support and help drive data and reporting initiatives. In this position, you will work closely with the Account Management, CRM and Corporate Access functions to understand reporting requirements and perform on-going business support of the client review process. This will involve the identification of revenue generating opportunities and data analysis to determine productivity, client service levels and KPIs. You will analyse data to determine integrity, key trends and gaps, providing clarification to the account team, business leaders, IT and management.

To be successful you will have:

• proven data management experience, with business exposure to equities
• familiarity with CRM systems, data warehousing, business intelligence reporting tools and cube analysis (MS Reporting services experience advantageous)
• strong analytical abilities with experience in statistical analysis and interpretation of data- advanced MS Excel spreadsheets skills (Macro & Visual Basic Level)
• attention to detail, with excellent organisational skill
• a Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Information Systems, Computer Science or Business related discipline
